Be Charitable, YOUR HELP goes a LOOOONG Way!!!

Hello there... yeah, this time around i'm not gonna start my blog update with Wasssuppp Shaz: Oops, i think i just did!

Recently 2 of our state were flooded with water due to heavy rain! Kedah & Perlis were affected... and there are alot of Malaysians out there who are without proper food and daily amenities.

This is the time that we as ONE MALAYSIA - no matter who we are, we become ONE and help one another! Recently, an effort done by AMP Radio Networks - consisting of 9 Radio Stations within the company (*Yours Truly is with XFM under the same umbrella), we organised a weekend at THE CURVE with Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia to drive charity donations of daily amenities and clothes to be sent to the victims of the recent flood in Kedah & Perlis.

Radio Announcers from all the radio stations under AMP Radio Networks (hitz.fm, MixFM, era FM, MyFM, LiteFM, XFM, THR Raaga, THR Gegar and Sinar FM) took part in this charitable event, dedicating their weekend to be there with listeners who are bringing the goods!

Yes, we heavily promoted the event ON AIR and announcers uses the power of Social Media too to spread the info via Twitter & Facebook. It was just simply AWESOME to have seen many people from all walks of life... even FOREIGNERS / EXPATS who are residing in Kuala Lumpur drove all the way to donate clothes, boxes of drinking water, and other daily amenities.

Yes, i felt so... HAPPY seeing this happen for REAL! Yes, people from ALL WALKS of LIFE donated a whole lot on this day. Keep this up because we are ONE MALAYSIA.

Memories with Colbie...

Wasssuppp Shaz: We all have our memories from here & there... well mine for now, am thinking about something that happened like 2 yrs ago! Before that... juz wanna let y'all know i'm currently away from WORK! in KL that is... will be travelling for the next 3 weeks half for work, half for leisure & unwind...

Will be in Jakarta for work, visiting our radio stations there... JakFM & GenFM. See howz the operation is like and the setup too. Yes we've got stations all over asia! Hehehe... working with AMP Radio Networks is so darn COOL!

Talking bout' memories... long long time ago! Was hangin' out with some friends & colleagues at the Colbie Caillat showcase here in Kuala Lumpur - LIVE at The Curve (in front of Laundry). T'was an awesome night!

Few names for y'all... was hanging out with Jon Ming, Justin, Adrian, and a whole lot more!!! Great event really... had the chance to see Colbie perform live... something that i always get to see but it's reall an experience over experience thing.

Hahahah!!! well Laundry has some MOONSHINE sessions and loads more cool stuffs happening at its place on a weekly basis. Checkout their site for more infos k!

Recently just found out that my classmate from LUCT is the Manager of Laundry Bar @ The Curve. What a coincidence... met him while i was on the way to the Gym!

Anyways, was at Laundry with Justin, Joey, Jean Louis, Jon Ming, Karen and many more! Hangout... chillout...cool music, great friends! Catching up most of the time really! The girls are mostly from KDU College, Joey's working in Kelantan now and Justin is working somewhere now! Last i checked was CIMB?

The B'day Bash: To my surprise... i was brought out for dinner one fine evening right after gym at the Curve Fitness First... TONY ROMA's... it was a BIRTHDAY PARTY for BIG Ol' ME!!! Oh Me Gawd...

There at the end of one corner in Tony Roma's... my bunch of friends - a big banner of me and a birthday cake waiting for me! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAZ! I was the STAR of the hour... a celebrity for the first 3 mins in TR's! Dang... people around me were wishing / singing the B'day song... THANK YOU y'all and the diners at TR!

My birthday this time was definitely a different one... especially something that i didn't have to organise or think bout anything! Wow... the feeling is just awesome! I guess now i know how it feels when i organise B'day parties for my friends... this long awaited feeling...i feel it now!

Thank you to the organising committee... Patrick, Chris, Mikel, the designing committee from Singapore Terry, the printing committee...the cake'ing committee.. LoL and everyone!!! Thank you for coming, thank you for making it a DREAM COME TRUE!

All these while i've been celebrating everyone else's b'days...and organising frenz bday...i never really knew how HAPPY they felt... from what i've helped in organising... maybe for some i called like 30 over friends of theirs to ask to go for the party, and those that i go all the way to organise with the restaurants and printers... well now i know how it feels to be on the other side... the RECEIVING side!

I wonder what's next up for me... Hahahah!!! This could be a good thing if it continues for many many more yrs!! Whee...
