Astrolife: Confession on a Runway

Wasssuppp Shaz: Have you been having headaches lately? I dunno if it's just me or i had too much of sleep...? HAhaha yea! I work night shift this week... that's 8PM till 11PM. 3 Hrs on the AIR then off for supper! Hmmm... but oh well, that should give me more time to blog and all. But actually nope! Been running errants like banking. optical shop, and doing other side stuffs! Life oh life...

Life with Astro, the premier Satellite Pay TV Provider here in Malaysia is so awesome! You get to watch top of the line movies on its movie channels, great action TV series too on AXN and Star World! Comedies and on top of that have fun with your family while enjoying great television.

Everyday when i go back home, my Astro MAX is always on Discovery Channel or National Geographic! Now... i know that it was my brother who was in my room watching.

Sometimes, it's already on the Asian Food Channel (AFC) or Hallmark - that's my MOM! Hahahah... when it comes to AXN, Star World, and all the movie channels i know la its me and it was left untouched since i left the house.

But then again, there's more to life on ASTRO than just in the screens. Really, it's true... and here's the proof!

In conjunction with the premier of Confession of a Shopaholic on Astro & the fashion week at MidValley Megamall. There was this event at MV for astro subscribers and invited guests (yep, we were invited!) to enjoy, sooth the day and relax... have a bit to eat b4 going back home... a fashion show with A CUT ABOVE and performances by local celebrities.

There was Diddy, Nicholas Saputra and not to forget the charming hostess - NANA of XFM!

Dome Cafe - Yes, that cafe you see almost everywhere now!!! Especially in KLCC, MidValley oh yea... Pavilion (that has not 1 but 2 outlets - level 2 and 4). Many thought that it's just a cafe like others that serves hot and cold beverages and oven heated foods that's on display!

YOU GOT IT ALL WRONG people!!! Dome Cafe has a kitchen and yes they got it COOKIN' in there!!! For the year 2010, they have a full set of 10 iconic dishes that they wanna share with y'all. T'was just last friday night that Chris, Zues and myself went to Dome Cafe Pavilion to grab a bite at some of their iconic dishes!!!

It's ALL ABOUT THE FOOD!!! - In my upcoming updates over the next few days, i will showcase and share with you what are the 10 iconic dishes that we managed to find out... hehehe!!!

Chris, Zues and I went in with an empty stomach and left with a REALLY REALLY FULL ONE! Usually for food tasting / review... we just eat a lil' bit of everything... but nahh this time it's the opposite!!!

What you did not know! - Dome Cafe's newest Iconic dish for 2010, is their Affogato! It's a cup filled with a shot of espresso and a scoop of imported ice-cream! With this... you will taste a mixture of sensation that tingles your tastebuds from bitter (the espresso) and sweet (the ice-cream).

Well, Dome Cafe's one of the very few places in KL you are able to order an Affogato... if you feel like trying (which by now i know you do!), go ahead to a Dome Cafe nearest to you. You can choose either to get a single or a double shot espresso!

The Saturdays!!! OoOOohhh...

Wasssuppp Shaz: Another weekend passes by, for most people weekends is the day for them to rest - for me it's filled with either i have to work on a saturday and hanging out with friends and having to write scripts for the whole week for CSA's and PSA's. Most of you guys think it's easy as a Radio Announcer - just talk talk talk on radio! But actually no... we have a few other stuffs to do as well. For me - it takes up at least 1 whole day to complete a week's worth of scripts.

Anyways - on a lighter note, i just got back from hanging out with Darren, Michelle and Joyce at Pyramid for TM Connects event, Carl's Jr. for late lunch, check-out some EXT HDD prices and went for Satay in Kg. Pandan!!! What a day...

About this blog post - It's not about the GIRLS band "The Saturdays!". It's actually about one of the saturdays recently, my friends from Ipoh came down to KL so yea it's my turn to bring them around for some FOOD (yep, tried the all time famous Nasi Lemak Panas and a few others...) and oh yea... Met up with a few friends in MV for the Playboy event! Yep a bunch of bloggers were there Dustyhawk, Jackie, Nick, Ringo, Adele, Tsiaaa and many more!

What's YOUR saturday like? Usually i like to go to the gym before i hang out with anyone... but sometimes its just not the case... even if i want to go to the gym, there might be no time for it! WHERE IS THE TIME??? Really... why don't i have enough time!

Let's have a look... i wake up at 10am... chill, tv...bfast... do a lil' bit of work... then hang out with friends for lunch! Then wanna go for GYM but can't coz not good to leave your friends behind! So yea... was out out out... hang out here and there! Then another B'day party to go to... in MidValley... after that.. went to KLANG for another meet up - this time its dinner with Zeck and Jed. After that... its time for another B'day party in Klang! OMG.. what a day! Fall asleep while driving back from Klang to Ampang... MAYBE!
