BALI - The Epic Moment

Wasssuppp Shaz: I go to gym 6 times a week now, sometimes 5... this week seems to be a lazy week for me! No motivation to go... i don't know why! But i have seen great results on me! I'm starting to wear all my old clothes! And those clothes that i bought recently (used to be tight) are now well got lotsa space! Hahahah... Determination, Motivation all HELPS! Don't loose it... I go to gym and work out and i have faith that i can be FIT again like how i was once before!

BALI, Indonesia: Trip with Brian, Patrick, Xian Jin and myself... yes 4 of us! We had a helluva trip, stayed in a 4 star resort @ Swissbel Hotel - Nusa Dua, flew in via AirAsia and had a great tour guide / driver around and the whole trip cost us very very cheap!

Had the time of my life touring around with great friends, had a great time partying, exploring the places, temples and much more! The FOOD here is simply DELICIOUS, there's so much i want to share... but i've shared it much earlier in my post about BALI and places to eat and all.

Btw - if you do come to BALI, some of the places you must head on to for FOOD is Waroeng Nikmat, Nasi Pedas Bu Andika and of course the all time famous BANJARAN Seafood! But here's the trick... if your driver brings you to Banjaran, make sure you tell him to drop you off by the side so that you can walk thru each restaurant and find the one with the best view! Although each restaurant faces the same facade - but the deco and entertainment for each is different! The price of the food around - some places the drinks are cheap, the food is expensive... some is the other way round but its all about the same. So the trick is, to walk by the beach and find the one restaurant that you LIKE! The table setting are different for each so yea.. choose your best!

As for you to contact your driver... just buy a local simpack there it costs less than RM5 :)

Malacca: 2D1N Trip - DeStress TRIP

Wasssuppp Shaz: There are those times that when you watch TV and in the scene - shows a part where they are eating NON FAT FROZEN Yoghurt, PIZZA or even just a cuppa coffee or Iced Lemon Tea!!! And it MAKES YOU want to go for one of those that very same evening... yes that happened to me for the past 48HRS. I went to Tutti Frutti Pyramid for FROZEN Yoghurt, Cappucino at Illy Espressamente Pavilion KL, brunch today Pizza Hut and today i feel like going for Iced Lemon Tea!

MY NEXT-next UPDATE: Dome Cafe - Your Lifestyle Cafe... the part where i make you HUNGRY showing the myriad of FOOD they have here! Its yummy too!!!

The picture below... was one of the many SURPRISES that we encountered in Malacca!!! A Grilled Fish Mobile! Btw tomorrow's Malacca update will be ALL ABOUT THE GIRLS!!! Joanna, Zoe, Jamie... LOL...

Anyways, went to Malacca with Chris Tock (@spinzer) for a re-treat! And to leave our work behind and purely got there to de-stress! We stayed at Renaissance Malacca and got a really good deal there for the room, stayed for a night and the following day we were all out in town with a bunch of friends who travelled from KL to Malacca for FOOD!

Its always interesting meeting up with a bunch of friends and new ones too. I met this Iraqi "Ali" and a Canadian girl who always gets LOST wherever we go! Dangg... maybe we should place a GPS on her! Seriously... we lost her inside Dataran Pahlawan a couple of times!

Interesting indeed going around town with a bunch of friends, moreover we were convoy'ing about 5 cars there! And oh yea... with our Malaccan friends like Kirks, Sebastian, Jason Mumbles, Gary, Yen Shiong and others... oh well there's simply alot to do in Malaccca! Let's enjoy the photos first!

BALI - Truly A Surfer's Paradise (Day1)

(Blog Update for 2nd June 2009)

We embarked on a journey to seek for a peace of mind, to celebrate a 21st b'day and to rest ourselves for many many more weeks of work / uni to come in the next month! 4 Young Lads - Patrick, Brian and Xian Jin... oh yea me too!

It all started one morning where i went to pick up all 3 to go to LCCT - we arrived there at 8.45am and went thru all the cool shit @ AirAsia to check-in to our flight AK362 to Denpasar - BALI. The first day was nothing much really, we arrived at Denpasar, got a cab to the hotel... other than that it was all fine. Went for water rugby or something with the guys - end up Patrick and I winning the game against Xian Jin and Brian.

6Pm we headed to the city to shop and eat... ended the day at nearly 11pm! The sunset in Bali is really early around 5 sumthin 6. So go figure... we really felt that the night was so long there! Anyways - detailed explanations below with the pictures :)

It was 5.45pm right outside the hotel @ Swiss-belhotel Bayview Nusa Dua

And so we waited for the hotel shuttle till about 6.30pm... and this was what we saw over the horizon!

When we arrived at Kuta - it was already so DARK even at 7PM!

So we walked over to this really famous "NASI PEDAS" stall - by BU Andika!

Patrick - so hungry queing up for long for dinner!

My dinner was only 16K = RM5 for this! YEa its a bit pricey... wait till u see what we ate at Warong Nikmat - much cheaper!

The looks of PEDAS'ness... we drank so much to counter the pedas!

Nasi Pedas - everything here is almost as pedas - cooked with REALCHILI!

Bali got traffic jam oso ok!

Yes, they even had Starbucks Coffee here - and we had starbucks on the last day!

Went for supper at this cafe... and guess what!

3 BINTANG's and 1 Orange Juice... LOL

Patrick went up on stage to perform... sing a song for the crowd tonight!
