CAMP 5 - Bring it on!!!

Some of you DOUBTED me that i can CLIMB ROCKS! Or for this matter... do some internal rock climbing with a belayer! Well...some others say because of me being so tall i can't really climb rocks and all!

Hahah... well guess what i can! i climbed to the top, i descended down... and i can belay others now! Yehh... When you wanna do something, you can do it if you focus your mind on it. Really it works - fear of heights, fear of other stuffs... its just the works in your mind that is playing that little trick on you.

Just want to share a passage i read from the book "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho:

"When you want something, all the universe conspires to help you achieve it,"

So yea - i really want to learn how to rock climb, i really want to get rid of my fear of heights! And here i am... i climbed up and sailed down! Thx to Patrick for teaching me everything i need to know about belaying and rock climbing. Now - you guys can come with me for rock climbing!

Camp 5 @ One Utama

You can go for a taster sesstion - that's about RM45 or was it 55, i can't remember.

But if you know someone who can belay you - and is a pro belayer! Well you can go under them as a guest. If not - you're not allowed to climb on your own! As there are a few safety precautions.

Students - RM30

Harness + Shoes + 1 day entry

Adults - RM40 (if i am not mistaken)

Harness + Shoes + 1 day entry

Remember - you can opt to go shopping in between your climb! Hahah and go eat outside or eat in at Camp 5's own cafe :)

Tribute to "The Eagles"

One morning... Joanna invited me to a concert at her college "ICOM". And so i went without any hesitation as i wasn't planning to do anything much that particular night. It was a tribute to "EAGLES". 

Not that i know much about EAGLES... apart from their HIT SINGLE "Hotel California"... hahahha despite that fact! i went. Arrived at ICOM - sign my name under visitors booklet.. then the lady who was attending to me ... she was like "are you Shaz... Joanna's friend!?" - i was like yes. 

She quickly greeted me and made me very welcomed here at ICOM - she said "Joanna told me that you were going to come..." Heheh.. so i went inside and attended to the session. IT was amazing how these young students of ICOM perform to a legendary band from the states - with full sets on stage and a range of singers! 

They have the talent, they have it all! From vocals to instruments and all! U guys were great - u know who you are! Heheh

Anyways - ICOM has a mini show every friday early evening. If you guys are free, you should have a peek at what they perform here. Its all FREE!

1st Krispy Kreme Outlet in Malaysia

Malaysia's first Krispy Kreme outlet is at Berjaya Times Square - Ground Floor. Taking over the Dome Cafe outlet previously and now is beside Papa John's. Another Berjaya F&B Outlet that serves great pizza! 

Berjaya - known for its Starbucks Coffee Franchise here in Malaysia... 7-11 is under them as well if i am not mistaken. Then there's Kenny Rogers & Papa John's. The latest addition to this brotherhood or sisterhood ( i really have no idea ) but yea... its KRISPY KREME. 

The "doughnut" fever i'd call it that MALAYSIANS been kraving for ever since many students who travelled a broad to Australia, UK and The States - all came back to bring to friends & family a little bit of DOUGHNUTS to put a smile on everyone's faces! 

Well... now YOU don't have to wait for friends to come back from overseas... just head on over to Berjaya Times Square - KRISPY KREME's 1st outlet or their 2nd outlet @ MidValley Megamall opening real soon at the Lower Ground Floor. A QUEUE that would perhaps make your eye balls drop out of its socket.

Talking about queues... For the launch of Krispy Kreme in Malaysia - the first few people started queueing up on the front door as early as Saturday (2 days prior) at 5PM! HAhaha... on this very morning more than 400 people was seen queuing up to catch the very first few thousands of doughnuts by Krispy Kreme. 

I bet the Krispy Kreme Krave is still on till now - and many many more years to come :)

Admitted to a Hotel! (SJMC)

(Blog Update for 13th-14th May 2009)

Yes, as you may know... from my Facebook Status updates and all the photos you are about to see i am currently admitted to a hotel! Oops i meant hospital - Sime Darby Medical Centre in Subang Jaya (Previously SJMC). 

Great thing is - and stiill is that many of my friends who lives close or far came down to visit! Ahh... thank you all for coming! Really appreciate it :) Actually... nothing beats companions when you are hospitalised! You can have astro... in the room but hey WiFi is also great but friends visiting and bringing FOOD that i LOVE are AWESOME WEI!!!

Why did i chose SJMC? Well... i know its super far from where i live in Ampang. My friend XJ and Joseph who lives nearby me in Ampang asked... "ampang dun have hospital is it?"...

Hahaha.. well yes there's Gleneagles Ampang, Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital and much more... but from what i know my friends told me that SJMC has Wi-Fi in their wards! Hahah... so here i am! :P
