YOUTH'09 - a youth event? or is it a....

Yes, many of you really wanna know what i meant by "... ..."!!! Right? Well if you were there for the event, you would've seen that there were alot of companies there trying to promote their products, services, and etc... Well i don't blame them! In order to have an event, you need sponsorship - tenants and all! But then again they have quite a number of sponsors and perhaps are making quite a lot of profits from this exhibition. Ok it's all about the numbers...numbers...numbers...! 

But then again - i thought it was a YOUTH event / exhibition to help us YOUTHS to be better, understand better, to have information shared with us! Of course i may have missed out on the first 2 days of the expo! But most people actually came on Sunday and this was what they experienced! A SALE BAZAAR like...kind of place with a whole lot of booths with big corporate companies trying to sell their products / show / place these stuffs to their target market! 

Oh well... all in all it was a good event converging quite a number of people together! Met up with quite a few of my friends there. I like the event coz it filled up my Sunday! Otherwise... i think if the event had talks and stuffs like Hannah Tan's "H-Factor" event where artists / celebrities shared infos and had small seminars or even like KLPac's Open Day arts festival with cultural shows, acting - drama - skillz presentation! THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER and a REAL YOUTH event to inculcate good experience and educative information! But oh well...
