Photosuru - a WPF thingy majiggy!

This is a lil' something that i stumbled upon at the TECHnet MSDN Conference last thursday morning.

And this WPF program really gave me the SHOCK of my life!

ITS AWESOME, GREAT, FAST and if you're not careful when installing this program - you might just get a BSOD! Yes a Blue Screen Of Death! Checkout the forums and what they have to say about PhotoSuru before installing yea.

Anyways, do read up about PhotoSuru... You can try downloading it! I myself haven't tried it yet as currently i'm just about to try the NEWEST, awesome... Windows 7 (Beta)! Yep, got the original DVD from Microsoft recently! Gonna try it on a different partition on my laptop soon! Hahaha... will let you know how that goes, aighttt!!!

PhotoSuru is a sample .NET Framework 3.5 rich client photo-viewing experience which allows you to browse web-based photo collections anytime, anywhere in an intuitive, fluid and fun experience.

With fast performance, optimized adaptive layout, and intuitive, simple navigation, this sample application highlights some of what is possible with .NET 3.5 SP1.

It's actually a new photo viewing sample from the WPF team. Now you may ask what's WPF!??? - Well it stands for Windows Presentation Foundation.

The sample provides a unique way to browse a collection of photos, taking advantage of WPF features such as Pixel Shaders, Adaptive Layout and Custom Themes.

The application is based on the recently released SCE Starter Kit which is available for download including the full source code.
