Well... i'm a RED DEVIL's fan!!! ever since 1995! The first time i felt connected with them was then coz i was studying in Paris, France (while my dad was working in Paris) and he came back from Manchester with a gift from MU's OFFICIAL MERCHANDISE SHOP!!!

Got number 11 Jersey that time it was INXS and a MAN U Scroll!!! Woohoo... boy was i HAPPY!!! Yes you can see straight into my eyes that night.

Hello there... yeah, this time around i'm not gonna start my blog update with Wasssuppp Shaz: Oops, i think i just did!

Recently 2 of our state were flooded with water due to heavy rain! Kedah & Perlis were affected... and there are alot of Malaysians out there who are without proper food and daily amenities.

This is the time that we as ONE MALAYSIA - no matter who we are, we become ONE and help one another! Recently, an effort done by AMP Radio Networks - consisting of 9 Radio Stations within the company (*Yours Truly is with XFM under the same umbrella), we organised a weekend at THE CURVE with Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia to drive charity donations of daily amenities and clothes to be sent to the victims of the recent flood in Kedah & Perlis.

Radio Announcers from all the radio stations under AMP Radio Networks (hitz.fm, MixFM, era FM, MyFM, LiteFM, XFM, THR Raaga, THR Gegar and Sinar FM) took part in this charitable event, dedicating their weekend to be there with listeners who are bringing the goods!

Yes, we heavily promoted the event ON AIR and announcers uses the power of Social Media too to spread the info via Twitter & Facebook. It was just simply AWESOME to have seen many people from all walks of life... even FOREIGNERS / EXPATS who are residing in Kuala Lumpur drove all the way to donate clothes, boxes of drinking water, and other daily amenities.

Yes, i felt so... HAPPY seeing this happen for REAL! Yes, people from ALL WALKS of LIFE donated a whole lot on this day. Keep this up because we are ONE MALAYSIA.

MAS: First in the world to fly on board B737-800

Wasssuppp Shaz: know i promised you loads... but Dear Readers of this Frenchie network... i've been busy with work work work and travelling here and there. Most of you have been following me very closely and discretely over both my Facebook accounts and Twitter!

I KNOW :) And i thank you for that...

For now, i wanna bring your attention towards a once in a lifetime epic adventure that i was invited to join recently... MALAYSIA AIRLINES SYSTEM (MAS) our national air-carrier with a TRUE Malaysian Hospitality has done it again!

What is it this time? MAS is the 1st airline in the world to receive the all new BOEING 737-800, the replacement model to the B737-400. This aircraft is set to fly a direct route between Kota Kinabalu (KKIA) to Haneda (Japan). Recently on the 15th of November, marks an important day for both MAS and Malaysia as we happily launched the 1st commercial flight for the B737-800 from KKIA to Haneda.

What's so Special about the B737-800???
Even my dad has been asking me... not only that he wants to board one! Yes, he travels to KK, Kuching, Tawau often... but oh well told him that for now MAS only use the new aircraft for flights between KK and Haneda. But not to worry, MAS ordered 55 of these aircrafts to replace the previous model (B737-400) that will cover the current domestic and certain short distance international flights.

What to look forward to onboard the B737-800!!!

The high ceiling, yes it's higher than the 400 series!
Thematic mood lighting, there's the BLUE SKY light too!!! It changes color depending on the mood that is set.
Hand baggage compartment is more spacious and better.
Seats are leather fitted with a TOUCH SCREEN LCD Screen with Audio & Video on demand! A variety of TV series and movies for you to watch! For young kids to adults :)

Oh Yea....another piece of story for you... wait up next year!!! MAS gonna bring you another brand new aircraft... but this time around, is it gonna be an Airbus or another Boeing? Stay tuned aights :)

Was invited by MAS to experience the all new B737-800 at KLIA for a day flight into Kota Kinabalu and back to KL after lunch and some shopping!!!

Look at that beautiful LCD touch screen with AOD and the kind Malaysian Hospitality of our young beautiful air stewardass helping out!

Meal is served at no extra cost onboard MAS, you can choose your seating preference too and oh yea drinks are complimentary :)

Wasssuppp All MILF's!!!: Kidding, so when was the last time you watched American Pie? Am sure... no matter how long that was you could still remember this joke! Anyhow... was at the MIGF 2010 which is the Malaysian International Gourmet Festival held at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach.

Such an auspicious event held at a very informal location... but Malaysian Socialites, VIP's and papa & mama's still know how to dress chic / fashionably at such an event. I was perhaps the only one that was not dressed to the theme which was BEACH WEAR. Ohh well... next time then!

This event was held with the presence of some of the TOP CHEF's in Malaysian Hotels & Gourmands Restaurants... they participated in this competition in which over a month plus... visitors who visits the restaurant eats the best of their menu and votes for who should win which award.

Myriad of awards given on this night, i really can't remember it all. What i know is that this event is FANTABULOUS... officiated with the Minister of Tourism and other VVIP's!

What else can you ask for? BIG CARS... checked! BIG BOOBS... checked! HAhaha... Big FOOD platters... checked!!! Really enjoyed this event as i got to meet my old friends from Uni and other work places! We had little time to catchup, kinda promised to catch up out of this event but hehehe... i guess everyone is busy with their own. Now, let's enjoy the photos....

Chillin in Penang

Wasssuppp Shaz: Recently i was in Penang to chill, relax and recuperate... YES YES YES, i know i've been on so many HOLIDAYS recently from Penang to Singapore and back to Singapore again. Well we live our LIFE only once, let's make full use of it! ENJOY :)

Penang - the land of FOOD! Quite true, just like how people call Japan the land of the rising sun, well here in Penang you can NEVER go HUNGRY! There's simply just too much to eat! Even if you are a foreigner... you still can go find the BEST of what PENANG has to offer!

Why? Coz... Penang Tourism (State Government) has prepared a special brochure with the BEST of PENANG voted by YOU (locals / Malaysians / tourists) of its vest food outlets!

Each few pages will share with you specifically on a certain type of food! Let's say... Pg. 1-5 will share with you the best of Nasi Kandar in town! Their name, address and how to get there! Oh yea SPECIALTIES too.

Not forgetting, the best LAKSA, ABC, Popiah, Takua Rendang and much more! So if you are in Penang and wanna go for a food hunt! Check out the Tourism Office first and take the flyers available over the counter! This will be very helpful for both tourists and locals!

Was in Penang with my friend from Singapore - KELVIN and BENATHON.

Had so much fun going from one place to eat and eat and eat.... all the way from KL we non stop eat! Even at Ipoh we ate the all time famous NASI GANJA (which is situated just right beside the Police HQ).

HAhahahh... you must be wondering how many KILOS we gained after this food hunt trail! Well... just look at the photos then you will know. Trust your instincts when you wanna eat here in Penang! JUST ENJOY :)

This is a stall on HUTTON LANE, in between two buildings - features its Nasi Dalca most of the time but i come here for their Roti Telor Setengah Masak and Roti Bakar! AUTHENTICITY to the max with a guy who is still going strong at the age of 90! Long white beard serving you...

Kapitan CLAYPOT Biryani, i've never tasted BIRYANI this GOOD before! The Chicken makes a helluva lot of difference!!! Really... you can have Chicken Masala at other restaurants... and other types of gravy! But this here in Penang is DYNAMITE!!!

When you are on GURNEY DRIVE for some FOOD! Well not everything here has gone COMMERCIAL! Well some of them still keep their recipe close to heart like this stall #80. Their Soya Bean, Longan Jelly and Tau Fu Fa is DYNAMITEZ!!! Must try is their Longan Jelly, although it's sold in almost all the dessert shop here... but theirs is DA' BOMB!!!

This is Marianne, we had lunch together with Kelvin here at the all time famous BANANA LEAF restaurant in BANGSAR. Why is it famous? Well their CURRY is HERBALLY DYNAMITEZ!!! If you eat with your fingers... hands.. the smell will stay there for a while! Don't fret... once you have a good hand wash it will go off! Check out NIRVANA in Bangsar, opposite Bangsar Village 2 Shopping Mall.

Kelvin, if you gained weight during your trip here... please don't blame it all on me! HAHAHAHAH... yes we have great food here in MALAYSIA :)

Remember the NEWS on Fuel hike many many years ago! That you found out via Newspaper / Radio and later on via news sites (or perhaps even blogs). But this medium takes time to get to you… and by the time you realize it, fuel prices has already gone up. Shown above the link for RSS Feeds in The Star newspaper. Thus you can just choose any topic that interests you the most. In this example, Sport under News been selected.

Just right click on the RSS icon besides the Sport News and select ‘Copy Link Location’.

Go back to your iTalk Whoa’s account and highlight the News icon, input ‘Sport’ under ‘Feed Description’ and paste the url copied previously.

The Sport RSS url will appear and click ‘Add New’ button and the Sport RSS will appear in the Feed Name Box as below:

To view all the RSS Feeds for sport, just click on Sport under News at the Mail Panel:

All the Sport highlights will be display in split second and you can just click on any link to read/view the full story of the day.

10/10/10 - Happens every... i have no idea!!!

Whatever it is, i know i am going to LIVE thru this date!!!

GOD is so great and so loving... that we all are living till this date! Talk about recent days... i was in Penang for a road trip with 2 peeps from Singapore! We stopped by IPOH for FOOD... and followed on with going to Penang for more FOOD and FOOD and FOOD!!!

Thinking that i might just gain 5 kilos by going to Penang and eat all the Nasi Kandar at whee hours in the morning!!!

Well, i managed to gaine 3 kilos, and lost it after working out at the gym - making this a continuous effort. Some of you may have seen me working out at Fitness First The Curve, Menara Maxis... well these 2 joints are my usual.

Since now i am doing DRIVE SHIFT ON AIR - I can go to my usual gym at the Curve, but that's gonna incur more petrol, toll charges to go and come back. Not to forget the parking... but now i head over to Menara Maxis Fitness First for gym instead... since its much much much nearer to home! Well... parking is killing me... but what to do, when you wanna save money on the other you have to suffer a little bit here and there.

Places to enjoy on the way to Penang, Well IPOH would naturally be your 1st stop:

a) Nasi Ganja - This nasi kandar place is beside the Police HQ in Ipoh! Its a corner shop lot! You will see mamak selling food, the water inside is handled by a Chinese family. The Caramel pudding here is nice too!

Now when you are in Penang:

b) Claypot Biryani - Check this out! It's the only one in town... totally forgotten the road name! But its really in the city centre!

c) Nasi Beratur - Beside the Masjid Kapitan Keling, check it out on your GPS!

d) Longan Jelly - Gurney Drive, stall #80!!! Its a MUST... look no where else!

This is the PLACE :)

e) Pisang Goreng - Tg. Bungah, on the way to Batu Ferringhi... you will see this stall on the way... at a Simpang Tiga... in Tg. Bungah.

f) Tang Yuen - right opposite Trader's Hotel! Very authentic indeed!!! Check it out... it's nearby the Karaoke building.

There's actually many more places... to enjoy great food in Penang! I'm not gonna be a tour guide for you here coz i know there's alot of other BLOGGERS out there who has done a detailed review on Penang and its FOOD Trail! Anways, enjoy the piccas of my road trip to Penang with Kelvin, Ben, Desmond, Ivan, Dila!!!

Waddupp ol' mighty lighty: Basing this whole update on an algorithm is perhaps the most dumbest thing i've ever done in my life. Absolutely... maths and blog updates???

This coming 15th October till 7th November, there's a Light Festival going on in Singapore. It's called the i Light Marina Bay - Asia's First Sustainable Light Art Festival Illuminates Marina Bay.

I still remember, when i came to Singapore a few years ago, this area was nothing but sand... and reclaimed land. But now, the Singapore Government and developers has changed it to become a fantabulous area with lots of attraction and especially the magnificent MARINA BAY SANDS.

I will be going to the Light Fest this coming November, anyone up for a trip to Singapore???

Do The DEW - With Mountain Dew!!!: Psstt... yes yes how much am i sponsored to put that within the 1st few words of my current blog UPDATE! You must be asking... Oh well let that be a secret.

How has your month passed by for you? Was it fast... eventful month? Got lots more moolahs this time around compared to others? Well... everyone has a story of their own!

For me, i've been going around town and meeting up with friends and going for events with just my iPHONE 3GS! (so backdated meh...) Yea, didn't bring my Nikon D300 coz its too big and heavy... as for my phone... everyone been saying SHAZ are you going to upgrade to iPHONE 4?

Come on... for me, if the phone still works - there's no need for a change unless i need too do something for work purpose and my current phone doesn't allow me to do so. Just imagine this, there are families out there who eats rice with some vege all day long with no meats. Some eats Sambal Udang without the Udang coz they can't afford the Udang.

It's very pityful... yes but they still live their life and enjoy what they have as a family. If you ever have the chance to help anyone - would you? I sure hope you would, coz they really appreciate the help.

NAGOMI: Japanese Restaurant (Jaya 33 / Menara Hap Seng)

WASABI: Wasssupppp... this reminds me of that cartoon... i forgot what was it called but it goes something like Wasssuppp.. WAssupppp... Wasssuppp then BANG!!! U dead... LoL.

On a happier note, if you think you've tasted real wasabi at those other Japanese restaurant in malls... well no, those are the cheaper version of wasabi. The best, real... authentic Wasabi is those that you find in some hotels, fine dining restaurants and of course this high-end Japanese Restaurant called NAGOMI.

Enjoy Japanese d'lish from NAGOMI at Menara Hap Seng Kuala Lumpur (used to be Mui Plaza opposite Jln. P. Ramlee, behind Hap Seng Star Mercedes Showroom) and also at Jaya 33 in Petaling Jaya.

Check-out Nagomi coz they not only serve you real WASABI but some of the freshest sashimi and other Japanese delicacies in town!

6 of us had dinner at Nagomi in Jaya 33 a while ago... and we had some of the sumptuous dinner we ever had. I previously thought that this Japanese restaurant in The Gardens Mall actually serves the best in Everything Japan had to offer.

Well, i thought wrong! There are other Japanese Restaurants in HOTELS like Shang-Ri La KL with Zipangu that has amazing Japanese food served to you! But, in actual fact NAGOMI too has a great variety and serves a wider variety.

The great thing about NAGOMI is that their menu always evolve! They offer new dishes every now and then... but maintain the strictest quality. This is made possible with some of their re-known Chef's that's in place both at Nagomi Menara Hap Seng and Jaya 33.

Sakura Sashimi Moriawase (RM128), served in a big bowl of shaved ice. There were seven different types of seafoods and each type comes in three. For those who are on a tighter budget, there’s Ayame Shashimi Moriawase for RM60; which has five different types and also comes in three pieces each.

Here's the outcome of it... Gyu (RM12) or in plain English, cubed beef. Do remind the waitress how you like your beef to be cooked and I recommend you to choose medium as the beef could be really chewy and lose its flavour and juiciness when cooked to well done.

Halfway through... we have more and more food to go!!!

There are a whole lot variations/ingredients under the kushiyaki/barbecue section, such as capsicum, quail egg, tomato, scallop, asparagus, salmon, chicken wing, white button mushroom, black mushroom, beef tongue (I know!), ladies finger, cubed beef and etc. The price ranges from RM3 to RM12 and each order comes with two sticks.

Was there for dinner with Wilson & Jason Mumbles on this table with our friend from NAGOMI.

First up was Mango Salad (RM28) with salmon sashimi, mind you. The combination of~~home~~ ~~restaurant~~ chef made sourish dressing and sweet mangoes made the salad a perfect appetizer in opening up your appetite for the feast later on. The little croûtons, fresh lettuces, crab sticks and fish roes added extra texture and flavour to the dish.

California Roll here is awesome!!! You should really try it, the seaweed used here to wrap it up and the rice has made a significant change in not just the flavor, taste but also texture to it.

Still hungry... we ordered this and more more more food!!!

No Japanese meal (of mine) is complete unless a slice of perfectly cooked and glazed Unagi Kabayaki (RM30) is present. I like how they used fried eggs as garnishing; both colors are in contrast with each other.

While there were only four slices on the plate, each slice was rather big and thick. Unlike the cheaper unagis out there which tend to be powdery, the one I had at Nagomi was firm, succulent and sweet. Yums!

We had two different salmon steaks, the first picture was teppanyaki styled (RM26) while the second picture was sake shioyaki (RM19) or salt baked salmon. I couldn’t tell the difference between the two. Apart from cooking style, could it be different parts of the fish were used? I doubt so but both fresh salmons were cooked till perfection and had the melt-in-your-mouth liked texture.

Still hungry... okay we all have BOTTOMLESS pit stomach!

We also had Gyu Sukiyaki where we got to cook really thin beef slices in a shallow iron pot containing soup/broth mixed using soy sauce, sugar and mirin and ingredients like mushrooms, vegetables and tofus. The cooked beef slices were then dipped in a bowl of raw beaten eggs before being consumed.

Thanks to Jason Mumbles (above) for the text in some of the pictures above, explaining how each and every dish tasted! I strictly agree to his reasoning! I would rather explain all these in my own words... but Jason knows it best.

This is BEEF TONGUE... yes. Comes with a pre-heated hot plate where you will have to cook it yourself with seasoning given in the smaller bowl.

Move it around when you cook the beef tongue, turn it around from one side to the other to ensure that both side is cooked.

Of course, cooking with a friend is better. Some says it tastes better too :)

I kinda forgotten what this roll is called but its gorgeously presented with a myriad of colors!!! Tastes exquisite... so different than any other rolls i've tasted.

Garlic Fried Rice - yes, for a greater experience at NAGOMI, you get to cook your very own Fried Rice or they will cook it for you in front of you :)

Pour in the egg first... stir it around as if you're making scrambled egg.

Pour in the RICE, the hot bowl is hot enough to cook the egg and mixed with rice.

Mochi - Heavenly... haven't tasted Mochi this good other than those my friends brought back from Japan. If you are a MOCHI fan... please please please try this out! I assure you its AWESOME.

The Abekawa Mochi (RM13) was pretty good too, with loads of crushed peanuts (I prefer crushed over powdered ones.), sugar and something else that I couldn’t really pin point what it was. The mochi, served warm, didn’t stick to my teeth like others did too.

Pisang Goreng with Ice Cream... this is a must try too!!!

Green Tea Ice-Cream, i LOVE IT!!! You can taste and smell the grenn tea in this!

Well HG Wells is a women in this series, and apparently she liked girls too... i really have no idea what's the truth any more... so can somebody tell me is HG Wells a women or a men? Please don't answer me with WOMEN = World of Men...ZzZZzz...

This women in a 1920's Video Clip that was filmed then had a Lady in it talking on a cellphone... probably a cellphone... well, there's no mobile phone back then... some people thought that it's a hearing aid but there's no one else near her...

The Manager's Experience, at NANDO's

Wasssuppp Shaz: I've been on holiday lately... to a few places with no Internet Service or Laptop around me. The only thing i have is my iPHONE to update my Twitter and Facebook. So i please GUILTY! Yes... i'm guilty of not updating my BLOG as i promised. But oh well... LIFE, if you are on HOLIDAY. Act like one... be like one... forget about the rest of the world, your usual life... change it... to do what you wanna do for once :)

T'was recently during the Fasting month of Ramadhan... i went on a NANDO's CRAZE... 3 days in a row, i break fast at NANDO's.... 1st was at NANDO's Pavilion, 2nd was at NANDO's MV and 3rd was at NANDO's Tropicana City Mall.

What caught my eye on one of my trips to NANDO's are the following events that happened at NANDO's Pavilion. Really a good example of how a leader and it's subs should work hand in hand to not only serve its customers but also to champion what we call "Common Courtesy & Customer's 1st".

1. It was 8.30PM, way after the break fast time... i broke my fast at Snowflakes Pavilion... as i reached there late. So yea... all the NANDO's staffs were actually perifect! Everyone was attached to a station, cleaning up tables, setting up tables, refilling drinks, getting the bill & payments, sending food and last but not least in charge of getting new customers tables.

Well, my waiting time was not that long considering there was an Arabian family in front of me and another dude. I was 3rd in queue... Got my table and ordered immediately as i already know what i want to eat. Table was clean and menu was there :)

2. My order came just the way i ordered it.... half chicken with 2 sidelines, made sure that both halves are breast meat. When i got it... something was missing... my cutleries! I looked up and saw the manager, he saw my table and quickly found out what was missing before i could even ask him for the cutleries... he went out of his way and got my fork & knife. THX Mr Manager!!!

3. One of the crew asked the manager to help her with something... and he helped! He even made some drinks, refilled drinks... basically he didn't pass it on to someone else, but was responsible enough to do it himself. Other managers, that i've seen so far elsewhere would just pass it on to some other staffs on the floor.

4. The manager, again... does refill, picking up plates, and even came to my table while i was eating asking if everything is in order. He made his rounds making sure that everyone was satisfied :)

5. The manager and his staffs ensured that they said THANK YOU to each customer leaving, or going to the counter and pay... well this is a table serviced restaurant but some customers prefer to go to the counter and pay as it was faster then... coz there were alot of customers leaving at the same time, but nonetheless the Manager without fail said THANK YOU to those at the counter too.

This is my NANDO's experience, what's yours? No this is no contest or what... just my 2 cents worth compared to what the Nando's Manager gave to all of us that evening... it was worth every penny and every cent writing this post.

Sometimes, when you do something right, good... you should be applaud for such, sometimes you don't... well i really think that this TEAM at NANDO's Pavilion deserves a pat on their shoulder for a great job well done as a TEAM!

Wasssuppp Shaz: Been having temporary glitch on my blog, buttons that don't work to go to the history pages (previous updates) and had probs with my external hard disk drive. That's where i store my photos - well my laptop been having some problems with the foldering system, apparently the PICTURES folder is the only one that i can't access - dunno why (any1 have any idea why?).

First and foremost, i'd like to apologise to all my readers for the updates that's taking so long. Which is due to the external hard disk problem and laptop where i place my photos. Now that we've got all that done with... back to my Birthday Celebration! There are a few other small ones that i didn't manage to post it up here coz i didn't lug around my heavy dSLR around to capture the moments, but rest assured the memories, the joy, the great companion moments still is something that i can remember for life!

This King of Bullshit has to say today is... Come on over to Italiannies, eat & be merry :)

The food here is much much better than any other Italiannies i've come across. Other Italiannies standards drops, not so sure why... maybe it's due to the management of each restaurant... those who don't give a shit or those who really caters to the specific needs of the clientele.

Well, if you've ever had a bad experience at other Italiannies, you MUST give it a try at Italiannies Empire Gallery. If the food you had is not up to your standards, give a shout out to them. But i assure you, for the month of July and August, i was there almost every Saturday and Sunday of the week.

Does that make me the ultimate Italiannies fan, well its also because of their LIVE Band Stage performance i'm there for and the ambience is just so good to celebrate my Birthday.

Talking about performance & reviews - i did celebrate my birthday at Italiannies but the one at The Gardens, food was bad - service was good, overall i would only come here for drinks and light refreshments only. Empire Gallery on the other hand... check it out! I can't stress it out more here... but my friends has tried it, they LOVED it!

This time around, i went for dinner with another bunch of friends, they are Evo, Marianne, Judith, Richard, Jon Ming - oh yea... Hanie stopped by too! As always, had a great time with my bunch of friends which most of them get well along with one another. So no problems there to just invite 1 friend from each sector of life.

Y'all are great :) Thx for being in my life...

B'day Celebr8ion @ Italiannies

Wasssuppp Shaz: If you know me that well... then you know that i'll celebrate my B'day for a period of 30 days from the actual date! So yea... if you see me asking you out to celebrate that's because i like to make the celebration small between 4-6- to 8 or 10 people max! The last time i did it with 60 people... it was MAD!!!

Seriously... my job on that night was just going to each and everyone and said.. HEY long time no see.. how are you? Thx for coming! THX for the present... enjoy the night! LOL...

60 pax was moderate actually coz it was based on invitees only! If i opened it to all, probably i need a hall for 150 pax (but my frenz said i need a conference hall / grand ballroom to at least fit about 300 pax). Hahaha DREAM ON! Cmon... i know i have loads of friends, close ones, far ones, schoolmates, collegemates, workmates, and online friends like YOU!

Well, that's why i wanna make it personal so that i can celebrate with each and everyone of you! So here's a journey of one of my first few B'day Celebrations. It was held at Italiannies, Empire Gallery where it was also Gary's b'day (both our b'day falls on the same day).

Here we are celebrating it with a great stage performance by our friend Poova (a great local singer), when she sings Alicia Keys "Empire State of Mind", you'll be searching hi-and-low for Miss Keys!

Wasssuppp Shaz: Our priorities in life... i've been thinking alot about that lately... we are so busy with our life here on earth with appointments with clients, friends and for some EVENTS and movie premieres.

I can understand that when we've made plans with family & clients it's hard to postpone it. But what if you've already made an agreement to meet up with your friends for some events and movie premieres... could you / would you change that plan if let's say an old friend of yours who just came back for a short time frame wanna meet with you or a friend who is sick / needs your help / in hospital needs your accompaniment.

Well, i would... that's why when i have appointments with family and client... yes i'll confirm with them. But for appointments with friends i'll have it anyway... but i will not confirm it with my friend till the day before or on the day. Why? Because... life is so unpredictable... being me having friends from all walks of life - i sometimes have friends from overseas who are here on a very short time frame or sometimes friends who might have been hospitalised and would pretty much need your accompaniment there... and i will be there. Not because i know how it feels like to be admitted but its just the right thing to do.

On the other hand... to meet up with your other local friends... there's always other times... movie premieres.. although the tickets are free, come on... what is RM8 compared to your friends happiness? Events... well your friends happiness is priceless compared to what freebies you will probably receive at the event.

Think about it like this, when you are sick? who will be visiting you? when you are down... who will be there for you. If it weren't for your friends... well this is priceless coz the events or movies won't be there for you!

Anyways >> T'was my birthday! Actually Gary's too... yes we were both born on the same date! So 4 of us went for a b'day dinner at Tenji @ Solaris Mt. Kiara. The food here wasn't up to my expectations. Paid so much but what you get is not up to the standards. Hmmm... really!

I'd rather go to Jogoya or a Japanese Fine Dining restaurant instead.

Wasssuppp Shaz: Preparations for Eid'l fitr at home has been tremendously... err how to say this.. VERY the MESSY to CLEAN! Repainting here and there and new furnitures and TVs n all.. What i can say is that my room is the cleanest and bacteria free! LOL

Now, BALI - Went on a cruise to limbongan island if i'm not mistaken. An ok place... the boat ride takes an hour from the mainland to the island. So if you're a sea sick kinda person please ensure that you have had your tablets in advance - if not juz eat it anyways! Coz i thought i won't have such problems coz i do travel to langkawi n pangkor... but mind you this is a 1 HOUR to go and 1 HOUR return back to mainland. Compared to your usual langkawi or pangkor trip... this is no where near there!

If you've watched the snorkeling video for this island, well don't really trust the video coz it really depends on the weather on the day and the previous days... coz the visibility under the water depends on the weather. Its a bit polluted... yes although we are far out in the ocean, can't really see much of the corals or the fishes.

We thought that this was just bcoz of the snorkeling area... so we went into the semi-submerge submarine and same... all we got was a BLUE SCREEN ... like when your PC goes bonkers.

The waves are good! The food here is ok... but of course salt water sea... make sure you have enough change of clothes, your own shower gel that really clean you up! Otherwise you're so gonna be SALTY when you reach back to the hotel. Mind you this is like a day trip from 8am till 5pm.

Overall, this trip is a GREAT ONE! Enjoyed every single bit of it with my bunch of friends... enjoy the piccas :)

Wasssuppp Shaz: How'z the fasting month is for you? For sure there's loads to enjoy at the Bazaar Ramadhan near you... but remember buy what you want to eat and can eat, try not to waste. Most of the time, i find that many people subjects to wastage when they buy so much food from the bazaar due to their stomach that's doing the shopping and not their mind. Of course your stomach will tell you that it's SOO hungry that it needs you to buy all that to fulfill... but actually, just buy what you usually eat and share it with your friends. That's the way to go...

Within 5 days of returning to Kuala Lumpur from Bali with my photo kakis! This time around... was BALI again (can you imagine that, within 2 weeks i went to BALI twice?). Yes... this time was a whole bunch of us friends - we stayed in a really posh resort, it was the NIKKO BALI Resort & Spa at Nusa Dua.

Awesome resort, a grand one this is... you really get tired walking from one end to the other at this place! You should really give it a try if you're on holiday with your loved ones... if not there's always the tune hotels, backpackers and other el-cheapo hostels!

Wasssuppp Shaz: MERDEKA MERDEKA & Hari Raya... Quite a celebration going on in this 2 months... Puasa month and Merdeka Celebration then its Hari Raya already! Whoaaa... what a time to celebrate and shop too!

Anyhow, here's a continuation to the holiday that i had recently with a few photo kakis.... we went to BALI. Experienced a whole lot of stuffs and get to learn about not just the people and their lives here but also the culture and the way people live or more like their standards of living.

Actually, if you think that Indonesia is a poor country - it may be but there are certain places like it capital which is rich in the emergence of new shopping malls, new outlets... but also places like bali which is like a tourish hub. Its always filled with tourists - who are big spenders rising the economy for the country.

Anyways... not gonna bore you with a financial report... here's the photos!

Wasssuppp Shaz: T'was my birthday and i managed to celebrate it with my family and friends. Its that awesome feeling that you get when you manage to celebrate with your loved ones! You should really try do small celebrations instead of one big ones. The feeling lasts longer and quality times spent with truly those who deserves that bit of you!

Recently i went to BALI with a couple of friends who are into Photography, and off we went for a 7 Days trip there to actually take loads of piccas of the wonders of BALI. But then we only ended up taking not that many photos... but ended up partying till we were so so so BROKE!!! All money spent at Hard Rock Cafe!

Lets start off this BLOG update with the place where we stayed for the duration of the trip to BALI. T'was at Swissbel Hotel in Nusa Dua. The cliffs of Nusa Dua, a renowned area for surfers too... but only on the lower end.

The Swissbel Hotel - is a chain of hotels all across Asia and Middle East, great 4 star hotel with 5 star treatment, services and facilities. The rooms are awesome actually... and affordable too.

Wasssuppp Shaz: Have Tech, Will Travel! Actually not... technology to help you travel is just an added accessory. With or without it you will still reach your destination. Just like me... yes, i do have a GPS but only with the Malaysian Map. Not counting the one on my iPHONE. Well, i still do consider that i only have one! HAhaha...

Was in Jakarta for my holiday recently and i enjoyed it as much as i'd enjoy being in Singapore. Seriously, there's a few sides of Jakarta. It's not the slump that you'd always think it is - derived from movies shown in cinemas. No... it's far better than that.

In fact, its malls are HUGE! If you think we have awesome malls like Pavilion, The Gardens, MV, 1Utama, Curve, Ikano... think again - their malls well there are a few sides to it as well. The ones for the rich, average and normal people! Other than that... their malls are really HUGE! Filled with designer brands that you may not even find opened in Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.

Yea, we don't have such malls here in Malaysia. Even though we may have 1 or 2... the design to it is not as big and awesome looking like here.

Went to Jakarta via MAS - Awesome Get The DEAL Promotion which made it only RM249 for a return ticket + airport tax = RM 300. A good deal indeed. Stayed at The Swissbel Hotel in Jakarta, awesome hotel. Although i paid quite a hefty price for a 4 day stay - RM750 phew... it was still worth it la for an awesome holiday.

Met up with some local friends there, former collegemate Stepfanus and Wife Erlynda. Met up with my CS frens too Philip and his friend. And thanks to Ernie for being the body guard who protected me all the way through airport security and the city of Jakarta.

NO we did NOT visit any monuments or museums... didn't have time for this. Really... we didn't take much photos there! We took photos of ourselves more like as if we are locals... anyways spent 1 whole day in Bandung - thanks to Stepfanus!

Fren from Singapore dropped by to KL and i invited another friend Calvyn who's currently studying in Australia but who is back in KL for holz! Well... we all went for Nasi Lemak at SS2... Roti Tisu in Kayu.

Yes, Malaysian FOOD! At its best... every1 is amazed by how much Malaysians can eat, till when we can eat, and how come there's so many 24HRS restaurants... and how do they live up to open for so long and still serve great delicacies.

Well, in the west... it's nothing like here in Malaysia. Peace, Harmony... errr... anyways! Most of their shops are closed at night! And only pubs are opened! In Malaysia we have the best of both worlds.

Hungry... come eat! Wanna have a beer belly... pubs are opened till late... wanna partayyy!! clubs are opened till VERY late! So yea... here's the story of a Singaporean visit to KL :P

Wasssuppp Shaz: It's been a busy busy busy MONTH! Phew... anyway... it's that time of the year! SUMMER time, altho Malaysia only has 1 season :P or maybe 2 if you consider monsoon! What time of the year that is...

Well my friends from overseas are down in Kuala Lumpur! Yes, i used to study in France, USA... With friends from all over the continent / world / state... err world! Maybe not... i don't think i have any friends who are Martians or Aliens...or maybe those that comes from the STARGATE! Hahaha...

Time for me to go around to Jln. Alor to explore on what kind of food they have there! Well on this night, i was with some local friends and those from other places like Spain, USA, Philippines... if you are wondering why they are here now! Well... what can i say? It's SUMMER time! The time that europeans all LOVE to travel!

If you remember, i was tweeting all over KL and 4SQ tellin' y'allz on whereabouts i am... my location! Yea i was bringing Lloyd (my fren from Philippines) around town for some great FOOD!

Wasssuppp Shaz: What a day! GYM GYM GYM... working out to make sure i'm living a healthy life and loosing some weight! The food i'm missing out on. Well it's all worth it! Showing some good results here! Will share with you more on what i do at the gym and how i do it and more more more stuffs!

For now, wanna update you about my trip. Wuz in Ipoh for Stadium Astro Sokker Safari, yes once again yours truly emcee'd the event in Ipoh by Astro. In conjunction with this we had a local band performance as well!

Like usual, at XFM we support the local bands! So here we are spreading the love of local bands to people up north!

The event is in conjunction with the FIFA World Cup happening in South Africa! There's so many things that is going on around now... and the one thing that really pulled a whole lot of viewers at any one point of time is the FIFA WC!

Ipoh is not just about the people, the events... but of course about the FOOD! Had so much of good food here! Well Gary had more food as the Chicken Rice wasn't Halal for me to eat so i just watched my friends eat.

But right after that, it's time for me to hit the dessert bar with a great selection of iced desserts and not to forget half a watermelon! YES HALF A WATERMELON!... The price of the food here is darn cheap! You ought to try out.

Wasssuppp Shaz: I am BACK from Singapore!!! Yep... surprised u huh! Didn't know i went to Singapore did you... LOL... LMAO! Ok ok... back to the serious part of this blog update! Just 1 more week's worth of work here in Kuala Lumpur and i'm off for my holidays and work outside of Malaysia.

Radio 91.3FM Singapore

Meets... XFM 103.0 Malaysia Radio Announcer:

Was in Singapore to visit Radio 91.3FM, and great thing bout the stations in Singapore is that they all go by FREQUENCY MODULATION as their name and unlike here in Malaysia where we have special names for each station (which also depicts the stations playlist).

For example in Malaysia we have hitz.fm (that plays all the hit music), MixFM ( that plays all the mix music genre), Lite FM (that plays all the oldies and current oldies). Why is that so? Because... Singapore is an Island that's quite BIG n a GREAT nation... without doubt! But they only need 1 frequency for the whole nation... unlike here in Malaysia, we have to cater to different parts of the nation for different frequencies.

The good thing about Malaysian Radio and its different frequency throughout the nation allows for more stations to broadcast, and not only that... but it's also for more advertising opportunities.

Did you know that if you listen to the same station in central region and at the same time.... another friend listens to the same in northern region and another at the southern and eastern region of Malaysia.... they all will hear DIFFERENT adverts that's being player for 1-2 minutes every hour!!!

How so...? Well this is called the LIU - Local Insertion Unit. Allows for small businesses (and SME's) to tap the radio market to promote their businesses at the same time. Let's have a look at it like this....:

Sean has 3 Nasi Kandar restaurants up in Penang... all 3 are around the island and Kedah aswell. He wants to promote his restaurant on Radio but he doesn't wanna spend unnecesssarily... In order to cater to his customers and soon to be... he will promote his restaurant via a 15-30-45 seconder advert On Air via the Local Insertion Unit (LIU). So when his advert comes up on air in the Northern region... well in the Central region you may hear something else like a Foot Reflexology Massage advert for KL area only!

Awesome innit... on the other hand!

Was in Singapore to visit Radio 91.3FM - great people here! Really an awesome team to work with. They are a bunch of dedicated announcers and really work off the charts!!!

Based in the Toa Payoh News Centre here in Singapore. Great big building with cool security! Studio area is very different than what we have here in Malaysia. Well i've visited almost every radio studios here in Malaysia apart from RTM / Angkasapuri.

If you're talking about AMP Radio Networks, Media Prima, StarFM stations... yes i've been but the rest NOPE! :( A very conducive environment we have here at the All Asia Broadcast Centre in Astro - Technology Park Malaysia. It is impressive actually, if you've been to my office here. Well... that is compared to other stations... yep! WE have some of the most advanced technology in radio broadcasting here.

Radio 91.3FM - Met up with Boy Thunder, Jeremy, Maddy and the Married Men! LoL... great fun trip i had! Got to know how it's like working as a radio announcer in another country. Got to know how's the working environment is like there.

Funny bunch they are! Although we live in 2 different countries - the commercial radio laws / rules T&C are about the same but rather more relaxed there.

I had the opportunity to stay on during their LIVE shows! For their morning crew... and got INTERVIEWED by them LIVE on AIR! Was so afraid that i might say something that would get them into trouble. Well... the thing is i don't really know what's the format is like in Singapore... so just to be on the safe side... i just became ME like how i am on radio here in Malaysia. T'was way too early in the morning for me actually... so i was still SLEEPYzzz!

I then stayed on for their 10AM-1PM show with Maddy... but then i had to go off early for lunch with the rest of the crew and off to enjoy some cool Singaporean malls and FOOD!

Astrolife: Confession on a Runway

Wasssuppp Shaz: Have you been having headaches lately? I dunno if it's just me or i had too much of sleep...? HAhaha yea! I work night shift this week... that's 8PM till 11PM. 3 Hrs on the AIR then off for supper! Hmmm... but oh well, that should give me more time to blog and all. But actually nope! Been running errants like banking. optical shop, and doing other side stuffs! Life oh life...

Life with Astro, the premier Satellite Pay TV Provider here in Malaysia is so awesome! You get to watch top of the line movies on its movie channels, great action TV series too on AXN and Star World! Comedies and on top of that have fun with your family while enjoying great television.

Everyday when i go back home, my Astro MAX is always on Discovery Channel or National Geographic! Now... i know that it was my brother who was in my room watching.

Sometimes, it's already on the Asian Food Channel (AFC) or Hallmark - that's my MOM! Hahahah... when it comes to AXN, Star World, and all the movie channels i know la its me and it was left untouched since i left the house.

But then again, there's more to life on ASTRO than just in the screens. Really, it's true... and here's the proof!

What i like about CROCS: I have some foot problem that's being looked at Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre in KL... and the problem is with my shoes! The sole is too hard and it's too HOT when worn... which creates some vapor and makes my socks wet too. Which in return, the bacteria here will culminate and attack my feet.

Little that i know... these are actually attacking me RIGHT NOW! And i need to get some treatment for it and change to BETTER shoes which is more comfy! (other than my current boots with metal cap toe).

Since i got my pair of CROCS - it's been far much better, yes... my FEET problem! It's solving with the help of the medication but on top of that the sole of this pair of CROCS is so comfortable that makes my feet better. It's a whole new experience altogether actually.

Wasssuppp Shaz: Malacca is fun... especially when you go with a bunch of friends! Anyway, My holiday plans has changed a little bit! Good thing i never buy my flight ticket yet at the time. Juz found out that my company trip is postponed to 2 weeks later, the same week i'm suppose to go to Jakarta. So i'm bringing forward my trip to JKT a week ealier then Bali and Co-Trip! Yahooo...

The Times, Seven Collar T-Shirt, One Buck Short... you must've at least heard about at least one of these bands! If not... you're not a true Malaysian are ya? Hahha... The Gig was awesome! Although One Buck Short came in a bit late due to the overwhelming traffic to Malacca town!

Had a helluva time in Malacca, went for the best Tandoori in town at PAK PUTRA. Brought out a friend from Germany to go around too! Felix his name is. Went to Jonker Street, hangout at a place there with my colleagues and friends... there were like 20++ of us there that nite! FUN TIME.

XGig 2010: Melaka Pt.1

Wasssuppp Shaz: It's the mid of the week! It's WEDNESDAY and i still have a few more days to go.. actually a week and half more to do "DRIVE" shift (that's 4PM-8PM) ON AIR till i do Night Shift (8PM-11PM) then i'm back to my usual shift (10AM-1PM). And i'm off for my holiday to Jakarta, Bandong, Bali and Company Trip! What a packed up 3 weeks i have!

Anyway was in Malacca for our XGig (that's the name for our gig related events around Malaysia under XFM), the first stop for the year is Malacca and we're off to Kota Kinabalu for another XGig at Jesselton Point this 24th April.

Went to Malacca with Haziq (the David Archuletta look-a-like) and Ernie (our muscle man). Yep... and met up with my local mates there Kirksman, Sebastian (their friends) and my colleagues for an unexpected weekend!

First stop for us (was bcoz we arrived on Friday afternoon and the rest came on Saturday), we had so so so much to eat!!! Will cerita-story-mory to y'all about the rest of the story in my 2nd blog post bout Malacca in a bit!

Wasssuppp Shaz: No, it's not my Mom's anniversary... if it was i'd only be wat... 8 or 9 yrs old now! HaHaHa... Anyway it's Sunday and i had a helluva weekend bringing my friends out for FOOD and touring around Kuala Lumpur! Felix from Germany and Jim from Korea but he's actually an American.

The wonders of studying in an International School in Paris and a British School there... has brought me friends from many nations! Be it Europeans, Asians, Australasians, Africans, Arabians, Americans and others... u name it! It's cool, it's fun... coz when it's time for me to travel... my turn to meet up with my old buddies out there! (hopefully, before i get any older...).

Champagne, the symbol of victory in the Formula 1 - Grand Prix has always been the signature sign off after a Victorious race on the podium. Being the #1... for the day and for many more days to come!

Wasssuppp Shaz: Just came back from Malacca on Sunday, and i ate so so much there! So now... have to buck up on exercise in the gym, weights, sit ups and all! My work timing is a bit screwed this 3 weeks coz i'm doing drive time! Means i'm on air 4PM-8PM.

Which means am only able to go gym after or before work. But that means, if i go before work.. i'll be so tired at work! After work.. then i don't really have a life with friends then! Hmmm.. how now brown cow? Hahaha...

Anyway - Been spending so much the past few weeks! Especially now that i need to change my car tyres to either a Michelin Pilot Sport 3 (RM460 a pc) or GoodYear (i forgot what model - but around the same price). Hmm... BONUS oh BONUS please come in SOON!!!

Anyways, this year marks the year that i really SPEND on my camera ever since i bougth it last yr :P Here are my full gear as of current moment!

Oh yea... almost forgotten to let y'all know that i will be going for a PARTAYYY this wednesday night right after work! It's something cool...something new to hit town! am sure you've read about it in my previous post!

Wasssuppp Shaz: Its' been another busy week for me! But the busyness will be finally over as Radio Survey just ended for me! Yessslahhh.. the busy part of the year eh! Now i can sleep and go on holidays soon. My boss just approved my 2 weeks holiday in May! Planned my trip to Bali already, it might be 2 trips tho... one's a company trip the other is personal. Then Jakarta and Bandong the following week! WAhahahah...

BALI - The Epic Moment

Wasssuppp Shaz: I go to gym 6 times a week now, sometimes 5... this week seems to be a lazy week for me! No motivation to go... i don't know why! But i have seen great results on me! I'm starting to wear all my old clothes! And those clothes that i bought recently (used to be tight) are now well got lotsa space! Hahahah... Determination, Motivation all HELPS! Don't loose it... I go to gym and work out and i have faith that i can be FIT again like how i was once before!

BALI, Indonesia: Trip with Brian, Patrick, Xian Jin and myself... yes 4 of us! We had a helluva trip, stayed in a 4 star resort @ Swissbel Hotel - Nusa Dua, flew in via AirAsia and had a great tour guide / driver around and the whole trip cost us very very cheap!

Had the time of my life touring around with great friends, had a great time partying, exploring the places, temples and much more! The FOOD here is simply DELICIOUS, there's so much i want to share... but i've shared it much earlier in my post about BALI and places to eat and all.

Btw - if you do come to BALI, some of the places you must head on to for FOOD is Waroeng Nikmat, Nasi Pedas Bu Andika and of course the all time famous BANJARAN Seafood! But here's the trick... if your driver brings you to Banjaran, make sure you tell him to drop you off by the side so that you can walk thru each restaurant and find the one with the best view! Although each restaurant faces the same facade - but the deco and entertainment for each is different! The price of the food around - some places the drinks are cheap, the food is expensive... some is the other way round but its all about the same. So the trick is, to walk by the beach and find the one restaurant that you LIKE! The table setting are different for each so yea.. choose your best!

As for you to contact your driver... just buy a local simpack there it costs less than RM5 :)

Wasssuppp Shaz: Murni's Discovery, i've been a loyal fan of this "mamak" recently... and yes i am still on a diet! Many people think going on a diet is eat less and all... NO... WRONG! It's eat RIGHT and if possible space out your meals and have smaller meals throughout the day and oh yeah... not to forget know what you eat, because you are what you eat!

There's a certain type of training at the gym that i do that will ensure me burning off what i eat within the next few hours after that... yes! That's what's maintaining me! Unless you are on a LOW CARB diet. Well i've been trying to resist the temptations of "Spaghetti Beef Meat Bomb" at Murni's the past few days and i'm going there tonight to EAT IT ALL UP!

Don't worry... rest assured that what i eat will be burned off and turned into energy that i will use! Anyways for more health tips and gym tips... check out Jakeman's blog! I'm going to try my very best to stay on a good healthy diet and watch what i eat and make sure that i only go for carbs (hi-intakes) on weekends only! Hahah...

Happy Birthday Buddy: Thong Kai's birthday recently and he celebrated it at Korean House BBQ in SS2. Unfortunately it's non Halal, therefore i only went there at the very end for like 15 mins to say hi and wish him a happy birthday! Heheheh... Met up with a couple of friends that i've been wanting to meet up... but we all no time! Hahaha... nice meeting up with Eugene, EuVeng, Renee, Stephen, Joel, and Joshua!

Birthday celebrations... dang alot of ppl's bday this month! And i am yet to meet up with Lex to celebrate hers! Hehehe don't worry... soon soon.

Wasssuppp Shaz: Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta started today with its official launching at 7am this morning! Unfortunately i couldn't make it but i might be there this Saturday for another event of theirs... On the other hand - i forgotten about this CANON event (sorry NINA), i really did... was asleep at home! Hahhaah... next time k or i shall see u this Saturday! Canon rawkss.. but my NIKON completes ME :)

When you know someone for damn long... you're probably prepared to do anything for their birthday! That's the case for Kylie's bday... except that its currently radio survey month and i'm working on Saturdays and with my delayed organising of DINNER for her B'day.. we weren't able to meet on time! And had to postpone twice... So here it is - dinner.

I've known Kylie for many many years... she's one GIRL that has a great memory! Whoever i introduce her to, she will remember their names and when she met them! Hahaha... Both Chris Tock and I area afraid of her for this :P

We went to the CURVE for dinner. At first we were suppose to go to theObrama for dinner, but they only had 6 items on the dinner menu, so we went off to The Gardens Cafe, fully booked... so we went to VIVO.

VIVO - American Pizza & Panini, its on the 1st floor of the open air area in The Curve, next to The Apartments. This was my 2nd time here, and it will be my LAST TIME too! The 1st time was like a year plus ago... tried one of their pizzas last time (nothing to shout about). But this time around, they really made my friends ANGRY!

They are angry not because half of them are F&B people from Major International Hotel Chains in Malaysia, but the service was really BAD! Food presentation sucked to the max (even Murni's one was WAY WAY WAY WAY nicer), food didn't even smell good... tastes normal... small portions... and expensive!

We ordered, and asked the waitress to repeat the order - she couldn't coz she only wrote the codes! So we repeated the order one by one - told her what we ordered and everything seems correct. But when the food and drinks came - it was all wrong!

What else could've gone worst... hmmm anyway, i have nothing much to say about this restaurant! Nothing much to shout about their food, if Murni's can make GREAT pasta's with great smells... why can't they do the same? Its my 2nd time here and 1st time for the girls - and its our LAST time here too!

Murni's Discovery - on the other hand, is a brand new branch for the original one in SS2. Cleaner, well lit and has actual menu and sitting arrangements inside with POS system! They even take orders via PDA with bluetooth sometimes!

You can find this place in Aman Suria / Sunway Mas area! Key area is the Oldtown Kopitiam there, once you see it... turn into the area and u shall find Murni's Discovery in one of the alleys. Most of the food and drinks here are GREAT! There's so much to try out... but some might not like the Roti Hawaii or Beckham here... Really depends on your likings!

Futsal with Local Bands

Wasssuppp Shaz: Every tuesday now i start work at 5.45am in the morning... well that's the time that i reach office and start work at 6am! That means i hafta wake up at 4.45am for work! Hahha.. damn early rite! But hey i finish work at 10am :)

Why do i start that early??? Hahaha... at the radio station, we do a LIVE "OB" every tuesday using the "COMREX" system. OB stands for "Outside Broadcasting" and "COMREX" is this small little gadget that we use to go LIVE from anywhere outside! Can't really go into details about this gadget! Hahah....TOP SECRET! But what i can tell you is that its a device where you can connect to the studio LIVE and broadcast to the world!

Now what i do is that, you need a person to handle the DJ Console panel in the studio, to do LIVE feeds and all! So that's my job, either if its LIVE or edit - interesting i know! Once u get hang of it... it's so easy :)

The quality of the COMREX system is so CLEAR!!! Just like as if you are in the studio. It uses a 3G / WiFi connection...wherever applicable. So yea... its the coolest thing i have rite now :P

Piala Ra'yat Pagi X: My radio station "XFM" has this futsal league going on between local bands and listeners. What they (listeners) get to do is that they get to play futsal with their favourite local bands and win CASH! The bands on the other hand, if they win the championship - they get to have the station for a day under their name... (e.g.: BUNKFACE.FM / Estranged.FM) There are 16 bands in total and this week is the quarter & semi finals!

Wasssuppp Shaz: Life is all about GYM routine for me nowadays! I really wanna do something about the way i look and feel. Apparently when you're healthy you feel good and u look better too!! Huhu..Haha.. Anyways been following a few people to the gym nowadays like Ernie and been getting advices from Jakeman and all! Thx y'all :)

On the contrary with most friends, i didn't eat much for this year's CNY! Mostly was very lite' finger food but i still kept it a healthy week! Was out visiting friends' house and collecting Ang Pow! Hehhee... Little Red Packets :)

I know this post is a little bit belated, but hey... am just going to post this anyways as i promised a few peeps that i'll post the open house piccas here on my blog!

Here's the continuation of Astro Fest 2010 - the yearly event that houses myriads of "carnival" like stuffs... for Astro's employees family & friends to enjoy throughout the day. Its the day that some of us work too... in the midst of the FUN & JOY that the rest enjoy here...

Yes, us Radio Announcers and other Astro Celebrities were on the run - singing, playing stage games and entertaining the crowd at large. This is the time that staffs family members and friends can really get up close and personal with us all!

For those of you who are not from Malaysia and is reading this BLOG update of mine, well ASTRO is Malaysia's Premier Satellite PayTV service with FreeToAir Radio Channels! Based in Technology Park Malaysia - also known as the All Asia Broadcast Centre. We broadcast not only to Malaysia but to other countries in South East Asia such as Indonesia, Brunei and etc...

Wasssuppp Shaz: A very very busy week for me... training at the gym, events, movie screenings, work, meetings and much more! Oh yea.. talking about Gym i'm getting my tips and infos about working out from Jakeman of hitz.fm - Yesssaaa... he's super good in body building, weight loss programs and much more! Will talk more about this later on k!

Astro Fest - it's like a carnival / annual family day for Astro Staffs from not just those who works in AABC, but Astro Awani, Regional Offices and much more... Therefore this year, we don't just have 1 stage but 2 stages (one at East Wing and one at West Wing). Local bands performances, FOOD is now scattered all over the facilies from South Wing, East & West! It's VERY BIG!

This update is just to show you WHAT is happening at Astro Fest! Next update...coming up in a day or two... is the WHOLE FULL COVERAGE of Astro Fest 2010!

Wasssuppp Shaz: Its the OSCARS day today... and i've sent a couple of my friends, fellow bloggers to the EXCLUSIVE LIVE Screening of THE OSCARS at GSC Signature @ The Gardens MidValley this morning. The B'day Bash: To my surprise... i was brought out for dinner one fine evening right after gym at the Curve Fitness First... TONY ROMA's... it was a BIRTHDAY PARTY for BIG Ol' ME!!! Oh Me Gawd...

There at the end of one corner in Tony Roma's... my bunch of friends - a big banner of me and a birthday cake waiting for me! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAZ! I was the STAR of the hour... a celebrity for the first 3 mins in TR's! Dang... people around me were wishing / singing the B'day song... THANK YOU y'all and the diners at TR!

My birthday this time was definitely a different one... especially something that i didn't have to organise or think bout anything! Wow... the feeling is just awesome! I guess now i know how it feels when i organise B'day parties for my friends... this long awaited feeling...i feel it now!

Thank you to the organising committee... Patrick, Chris, Mikel, the designing committee from Singapore Terry, the printing committee...the cake'ing committee.. LoL and everyone!!! Thank you for coming, thank you for making it a DREAM COME TRUE!

The only thing i wanted...the only thing i waited for... just a small birthday celebration between me n my friends...nothing big, nothing fancy...i LOVE it!

All these while i've been celebrating everyone else's b'days...and organising frenz bday...i never really knew how HAPPY they felt... from what i've helped in organising... maybe for some i called like 30 over friends of theirs to ask to go for the party, and those that i go all the way to organise with the restaurants and printers... well now i know how it feels to be on the other side... the RECEIVING side!

I wonder what's next up for me... Hahahah!!! This could be a good thing if it continues for many many more yrs!! Whee...
